John,This was my intro to the world of loopers. love the limitless possibilities for a solo performer. When you don't have time for band practice, but time to work out your solo work, you can really layer your music. the best, Wichita Sam

They are awesome to jam/practice with. I get the moral dilemma some have using them live...but that comes down to individual choice. Still, to practice with? Go for it! Who cares what the "music snob" says. There are too many snobs out there anyway. It's easy to be negative. Go for what you enjoy and helps you develop!

Sorry, if I missed the offer before, Jim. I will take you up on a try out of that looper and somehow make it right later. Will message you my address. Thanks, Jim!

John, I use a Nu-X Loop Core. It's a knock-off of a Boss RC-3, I think, but sells for quite a bit less ($93.50 delivered). It works better than I do.

Yup, I've made the offer Unc. My old Ditto looper and all you need is a 9v power supply. The link to the online manual is in an earlier post. I got and now use the next step up Ditto so this first one is just collecting dust. What the heck, I'll get it in the mail to you on Monday and you can give it a go.

I've been watching videos and looking on ebay and Musicians Friend. I have almost narrowed it down to a DigiTech JamMan Express XT Looper and one by Boss. Both are just under $100.00 U.S.

I've used Musician's Friend a lot. Good prices. Cheap or free shipping in the U.S. And a big thing, If you don't like it, you send it back.

But I just can't seem to pull the trigger and buy one. I am not tech savvy. I am cheap. And what I want it for, I could do for free. Find some videos and play along on harp and/or guitar. Try to improve my harp and my timing.

So, no looper for me right now.
