My guitars were featured at a local concert last Friday and as a thank you to the production team who puts on all of these concerts (I've been doing shows with them all Summer), I donated a guitar for them to auction off during the show. The money made from the auction went to the Unforgettables Foundation, the sole purpose of which is to assist families financially who have just lost a child.
The show was bad ass (it was good for my inner redneck). When it came time to auction the guitar, I went up on stage and gave a bunch of details about what it is we all do here. Came up with a totally cheesy line on the spot that still sounded cool at the time (When you want to commune with the spirits of rock legends, this guitar is your Ouija board), and the damned thing went for $1,200!
Not too bad for a four string with a tele pickup:

That is excellent stuff.
Big up for the courage to give to others. I`m sure those beneficiarys will hold you in their hearts for many years to come....
Not too bad at all Josh! I'm glad your inner redneck got a chance to make himself seen. Good deal with the charity, good idea with the auction, and of course the guitar looks badass as well!
