Hi All, just thought I would show this "000' size acoustic/electric guitar I have just completed. I have just got to set it up for delivery now that  have played it in a bit. It sounds better each day.

I used Indian Rosewood back and sides, Engelman Spruce top, mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge. It has ebony and mother of pearl inlays, bone nut and saddle and a Fishman pre amp. The Gotoh tuners have ebony buttons. The peghead veneers are Silkwood and the inlay is a copy of a tattoo the new owner has.

Thanks for looking Taff

WOw!

nice,

Maybe after my 200th build I might be able to create a guitar half as nice as yours. Nothing stops the eyes they just flow over the whole piece it's like a : comfort for sore eyes. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice indeed

Flawless!

Friggen awesome! I'm learning alot about acoustic guitars thank you for that! Any other time you might as well be speaking Greek about the description.

Man, you are SO far out of my league....

Pretty as Pie.,., beautiful guitar, and an excellent job.,!!

That is wonderful.   It looks like master Luthier work and the finest materials.

You did not say how it sounds,  I would like to take it for a gentle test ride!

Darn, I've had off and on guitar lust of late for a Taylor GS Mini.  This put me back in the mood for one.

Hi All, thanks for looking and all the encouraging comments. I'll address a few of the comments.

Flawless, well it could look that way now but it was not without its chellenges [if I could only bring myself to do the same thing every time]. But that saying rings in my head "if you do what you always do...you get what you always get". I'm not ready to settle for what I'm getting....yet

Master Class: I wish. I think my less than perfect eyesight causes me to revisit some tasks more often than I would like. But I have a box of 6" diameter LED lights to install, maybe eight of them to be put at different locations will put an end that excuse.

I judge my success with a build on the journey as well as the desination, If I don't enjoy the journey I find it hard to enjoy the finished product until the customer says they are happy. The final cost is based a lot on how I feel about the project overall. The best test of success for me is the customers body language feed back.

What does it sound like?: Well I suppose that's in the ears of the listener. A guitar  builder who lives in another town played it  just after I strung it up, and made favourable comments about how rounded the bass was and how responsive the guitar is to light picking. My wife also stuck her head into the room saying "gee that guitar is loud".

Hey Will, glad you think the way you do. Like I have said in the past my responses to members questions is not only to help them fix an immediate problem, but to give enough information to recognise the cause and/or prevent a reoccorance. I have done a lot of woodwork instructing in my time and find it very beneficial to have people succeed by giving them the information, and skills, but let them work their way though challenges, only stepping in as needed.  And if I give too much info, like now ha ha, ignore it.

Cheers Taff.........but wait there's more........later.
