Taking the stage with drum triggers, a full mixing board and other contraptions, Nickel creates a full band sound centered around his 3-string cigar box guitar. In this video from the 2017 New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival, Nickel explains his guitar and then delivers two awesome Queens of the Stone Age cover tunes. This ain't no blues show here, folks!

Forgot my question: Would the single-string cigar box pickup work on a CBG one-string diddley bow?

Reminds me of a dude I heard at the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival back about 8-9 years ago. He had a double CBG--guitar and bass (one string)--but he had two separate necks for each. And he played VERY well. Doggoned if I can remember his name. Young, nice looking fellow, nice bushy beard. He could play fingerstyle on regular acoustic guitar like a boss too.
