Last year Ky Mojo attended the Huntsville CBG fest. We were hoping to make some connections and meet some new friends, but we only were able to convince one vendor to play live and on the spot. Clyde actually came up and asked us if we play "those things" or just carry them around. Our motto is #GotMojoWillJam, so we happily broke it out and down right on the spot. But that was about it. I was really surprised at the lack of people ready to just play on the spot. We even set up in a back hallway trying to lure in a few more CBGer's with no luck. I am not sure if it's because we were packin CB Ukuleles, we weren't playing the blues, or the fact that we weren't known by many there, so this year I'd like to try to do it again! We will have "The Mojo Roadshow" (or a version of TMR) there ready to just have an old time jam session somewhere in the Lowe Mill building. Please respond to let me know if you are attending, and would like to hang out for a song or two, or even just to say "Hey". We want to make some music and memories with other enthusiasts, builders and players there, so don't be shy. I know it's a tight knit community, but not so tight that they won't let a few hacks in the back door to make some noise! Who's in?

Alchemy got back with me and said they could employ a sound guy to man the system and were all on board for an open jam/open mic thing. There are performances from 1-9pm so I think that 11am-1pm on saturday in The Alchemy coffee shop at Lowe Mill A&E should be a good time and place. I told them we would not need a sound system or guy because we don't even know if anybody will show up, but this is a good opportunity for them. So who would be down for an open jam/open mic?

I'll be there both Friday and Saturday . . . just say where (within the complex) and when (day/time) is everyone planning to show up and meet/greet/play?
If #3's baseball schedule allows, I'll be up there Saturday (I'm only 30 minutes down the road.) I'll gladly jam...on guitar or uke (ukes are how I got in to this.) :)
Great! We will be ready to jam Saturday! Keep an eye on this post and I will update as to where we are in The Lowe Mill Arts Center. Do you have a CBU?
