I saw him with Honeyboy Edwards on the Robert Johnson tour. He was still having the time of his life, and loving every minute. He had one lung removed a while back, and had to take oxygen on stage with him, but he didn't let it slow him down one bit.
He truly seemed like he appreciated the gifts he was given, and he is one of the rare folks on this earth that got to do something they love.

I had the privilege of meeting him one time. He was a very nice person, very friendly.
Wow, did not know he was still around and yet I am sad at his passing. Loved his stuff.
'Tracey. thank for posting. I will raise a glas (actually a bottle of Leffe Blonde beer) to him and the wolf.
Long live the blues.
