First Annual Sunny California VIRTUAL CBG & Roots Music Fest ~ February 2nd until ????

You, my friends are cordially invited  to the First Annual Sunny California VIRTUAL CBG & Roots Music Fest

(Note: as used here, virtual means IMAGINARY).

This is a potluck meal, so please bring a covered dish.  If you can, bring a signature dish from your region, such as fried okra from the American south, tortillas from Mexico, sweet corn from Iowa, Fish and Chips from the U.K.  and Vegamite sandwiches from Australia.

Please RSVP and tell us what vehicle you will be driving and what snacks you are bringing.   Air Force One takes up a lot of space.  There will be limited parking for air craft.   There is plenty of boat and submarine parking, but it is first come first serve.  We have room for over 100 buses.  We've been told to expect busses from Canada, Mexico, Australia, Holland and the U.K.  We hope the U.K. folks will drive at least one of those double decker busses.

Activities include: continuous open mike in several different areas. Vendors. Submarine races.  Disc Golf Tournament.   Largest and smallest fish contest at the fishing event .  Nude beach.  Regular beach.  Disco.  The grand opening of the west coast branch of Uncle John's Pawn shop (free corn dogs to the first 500).  Ugly dog contest at 4 pm.  Goat Rope Rodeo at 5 pm.   And MANY MORE.

Please RSVP.  ASAP.  WTF.

Great poster, Mister Pick.  I am really looking forward to the fest!

I will put this event on my virtual calendar John ;)

Good deal, Mike.  We got your entries for the goat rope and fishing contests.  Best wishes.  You are on the west stage open Mic from 545 till 6pm.  Please do not go past your time limit.

Mike, we are now calling that west stage the Texas Shorthorn BBQ ~ Lightning Hopkins stage.

Wish I could make it from San Diego!

You have to make it John.  We have you down to open the Pespi Cola BB King stage from 1000 to 1030.  Don't let us down, man!

Contact our Popsi Cola BB King stage MC, Richard Sundberg, to volunteer for video camming both live stream and delayed video.  A steady hand is not necessary, we have tripods. The three legged kind.  Open slots are:

Popsi Cola BB King stage:  noon to 1300 and 1600 to 1700

The Harvey's Razors Howling Wolf Stage from 1400 to 1500

Roving beach cam (both nude and regular) all shifts are now covered.

Texas Short Horn BBQ ~ Lightning Hopkins stage from 1700 to 1800

Dilly Dilly.

I’m ready Uncle! All locations have been cleared for good shooting at nude beach. You didn’t mention videoing music at the venues! Now I’m rattled!

You look much better with that hat on, Richard.  Yup we are videoing all 3 of the stages and there will be a roving videographer as well.

!!!!!   ;-D
