Most forums I have seen are divided into various subjects. Can the forum software do that? Do you think that is appropriate for our forum? If so, what would the subjects be?
Another variation I have seen is the way it is now, with the latest activity floating up to the top.

I was just thinking about this very idea, while scrolling through threads that I don't really have a big interest in... It would be nice to see about 6-8 divisions of subjects. Here are a few of my suggestions...
1. Wiring
2. Boxes
3. Necks and Frets
4. Parts- ie, tuners, bridges, saddles, nuts...
5. Maybe a show off page, just to show off your new instrument and finished build...
6. .....?
It's nice to see the latest activity always 'floating' to the top, but I would be more intersted in going directly to the topics of my interest...
One more thing as long as we are on this kind of subject... I'd like a subscription to the threads that I have posted in, so I can see when there is a reply or new post, without having to go search for them. And I don't want to subscribe to the threads via e-mail... It only fills my already hectic inbox with individual letters for every new post...
