Anyone have a good idea for a diddley bow whammy bar? I know that you can bend the board and get the effect, but what about someting with a bar that you pull like a real whammy bar. I one time tried to use a metal bracket with some springs inside and put the string over the bracket, it was going to act as a bridge and also be able to move up and down, and move the string. Well, it did not turn out so great. I feel another diddley bow build I think comeing on. I was thinking I would try this.

Well, there is not a lot of differance in construction between a diddley bow and Whamola. If you google "Whamola" you will find pictures and vids that may give you some Ideas.
