Cigar Box Nation News for January 24. We just returned from New Orleans and our heads are still spinning. Three days of concerts, a film screening, kids programs and more. It was a rousing success! We've posted our first feature from the weekend below: a video of Brett Gardner playing Django-inspired cigar box guitar with the New Orleans Swinging Gypsies. Don't worry...we're going to be bringing you much more from the fest in the following weeks. We're in love with this Cohiba body guitar with Lipstick Tube Pickups by Brent Briggs. He says, "[I] finished this little lipstick powered rock and roll machine with a 23 inch scale so I can grab some chords with my small stiff hands. I'm keeping this one."
