I gotta say - I never thought I would.
I am disappointed in Cigarbox Nation. Only 9 songs this year?
Where are all the guys who constantly post videos of their playing?
I do not know how to play very well at all, but I have for several years now, recorded something on my own hand made instruments. This is what I understood Cigar Box Nation is all about.
What a great tradition . They allow anybody to submit a 'song'. It doesn't have to great. That's the point.
Some of my all time favorite Christmas songs have come from these CBN annual albums. (Not played by me.)
Remember A. Pick? He had songs on the album a couple years. What a gift to be able to still hear him play. " I'm not the man I was..."
Glenn Kaiser's Joy to the World from a past release is truly a joy. So much emotion conveyed on a classic.
Where's Noisemaker this year? Dancing to the sleigh?
Where's Babypants? I loved Candycanes. Now I'm going back a few years.
I guess I'm getting old and grouchy.
