Where are you in south FL? I grew up in West Palm Beach...Lake Worth, really. I get down there every so often, maybe we can get together next time I'm down that way.

Just an FYI...If you are close to Deland...Ben Prestige will be at the DaVinci Cafe on Dec 17th. I'm a bit of a jaunt from you here in Gainesville. I just purchased my first CBG yesterday. Here is a pic of it.

I got it from Bill Jehle. I'm gonna try my hand at building one of these here soon to. Good luck with your endeavor.

I live in Ft. Lauderdale, but I play Steel Guitar, not Banjo. I'd be interested in building one though!

I don't live in Florida, but I've made a bunch of cigar box banjos. Mine are 5-string, played like a regular banjo. Check out my page here iffen you want to see a few of 'em. Quieter than standard banjos, they're perfect for living room or back porch playing!
