<p>Hi, never used birch for a neck but I understand it is a flexible timber and " bends well". So my first thought was combining this with a fretboard that would have no strength to add to the neck due to the many glue joints used, could create a weak neck. </p>
<p>But I don't know for sure, just keep it in mind when designing your neck.</p>
