Bass Fretboard

I have no other person who builds CBG. I am having a hard time finding Bass Fretboards. I emailed Mike Orr, and have not gotten a reply. Can anyone help?   Mike Orr has built fretboards for me in the past. I don't know what happened to him.

  • I heard he wasn't doing them anymore, he's not young you know? coolMaybe it's time you learned, it's not hard at all? You just need a fretting saw, a miter box, plastic tipped hammer, some nippers to cut the ends & a few files & know your way around a ruler? Make sure you get jumbo fretwire if it's for a bass? There's fret scale templates all over the internet, and endless tutorials on the subject can also be found on the internet as well? cbgitty has fretting supplies for good prices, the saw they sell is well priced with good quality & the fretwire is the same as stewmac but is cheaper?
