<p>I used a large Forstner bit for the corners/points and cut the rest out with a jig saw. Clean up with files.</p>
<p>The hardest part was drilling the peg holes on the side because it was end grain of the wood made it hard to keep the holes from walking. I used Brad Bits for that and it worked out well enough. The pitch of the headstock angle helped to secure the tuner with that offset screw.</p>

<p>I used the same headstock design on one of my CBG's. I hollowed the center out and mounted the tuners on the sides with pegs facing the back.
