I see a lot of Singe String Bass bridges, will the badd-end of a guitar string hold?

Guess I should have used -bass for the search. Not sure if a guitar string would hold in a bass saddle. Know for sure the cut in the bridge piece itself would be to big. 

Sorry about that. Perhaps single guitar saddles don't sell as well as the bass do on Ebay. I've seen them in the past. Haven't done a search for them in months.

I have a couple of bass guitars and the ball end of the strings are considerably bigger. You could probably make it work though by slipping on a small lead sinker from your fishing tackle box (or something similar) on the end of the guitar string.
