Good lord , the stuff I had to do to get this song out,.......btw,Merle , u rock ,.....salud, mate.....,I had to enlist a hotshot backup vocalist on this, talk about expensive....sheeeez........

Hey folks,  finish up those song commitments!   We're all anxious for this completed album.   Thanks to Merle and thanks for keeping it home made.

Good advice, Unk. Also, glad to see the guys not putting up the songs before the album is out on 1st August. Lots of excitement goes out of Nation albums (in my view), when lots of the songs are heard before release date :)

Maybe, Jamie.  I look at it like appetizers.

Was not referrin anyone in particular unk. But once the ball rollin, have seen half an album out early. Pteview clips of a few songs, by album ring master, yes. Folks puttin up songs willy nilly, would say probably not good etiquette :)

SHOW AND TELL :  What I used on Merle's Dylan album, for "Senor".

4 string Canjo by jabes, 5 string Banjo by Anthony.

nice idea Jamie - here are mine i used on my BD song "Subterranean Homesick Blues"..... (-:

Bat Man for rhythm and Parlour Lady for slide....and a Harp!

"Parlour Lady" - Small Guitar Big Sound!     BATMAN...!

Nice guitars Steve ma man. I puit little bit harp on as well ,on marine band. Was gonna play comb and paper, but sounded like a monkeys fart !

Jamie here 4 string tenor banjo's are called Irish tenors for some reason and here they are around 19 to 20 inch scale is that about what they use on factory tenors made there ? I'm am liking this scale more and more for cbg's.

That's the scale I use for my baritone ukulele. But probably not relevant to your question.

Hi, RTZ. Don't know much about tenor banjos. Got an old factory  five string , as well as the CB one from Anthony. The tinjo/canjo by  jabes, I think of as a 4 string guitar or Uke.  It has a good, clear sound, and I use it as rhtymm guitar on "Senor", my song for BD album.:)

I recognised that there banjo as the work of Anthony. At last year's Boxstock he played some ace claw hammer on a similarly lovely instrument. It's interesting how those that build guitars, banjos and the like, make them in a certain way and with identifiable designs.
