Mornin all,
I am from the smallest village in New York State. In a recent post I said I design my own amplifiers, and thats boring now. Does anyone have links to some decent amplifier diagrams and schematics I should know about..Keep buildin n playin..THANKS

Mark, In answer to your question on bypass capicitors, They are used to filter out noise and ripple. They allow alternating current to pass and filter out direct current. Removing them will allow direct current to flow freely. You can leave it out, and if the circuit is noisy, put it back. The value should be .1 mfd, or .o1mfd, although the value isn't important. Thanks Jason, I will have to give that a try when I get the chance but, I am thick on this stuff and, I can't see what CD has got to do with anything. I have only got old car radios with a tape deck on it not a CD player. Can you explain please?

Hey Hogs Grunt
If you have a tape player you can use a CD to tape adapter and then a 1/8" to 1/4" cord adapter for the guitar cord. Insert tape adapter in to tape player, plug into the guitar, push play and play.
