Beginning in 2011, the Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival began as a collaboration between the City of Farmers Branch and the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation to bring top tier, traditional bluegrass music to north Texas and feature it in an outdoor festival setting.

Entertainment for the 2 day festival includes 23 acts on two stages plus an open jam each night. Del McCoury, Sam Bush, Doyle Lawson, Chatham County Line, and so many more will perform Friday and Saturday. Admission is $10 per day or $15 for both days.

    This is not really a CBG event, but I thought some of the TX builders might enjoy this show.
