A free preview of the cigar box guitar documentary "Songs Inside the Box," will be screened on 09 January 2009 as part of the "Second Fridays" concert series at the Indian Valley Public Library, Telford PA. This excellent 57 minute documentary will be followed by a 30 minute set of music on cigar box guitar by David Williams. Starts at 7:30 PM.

    It was a memorable night seeing "Songs Inside the Box" for the first time. Maybe this is how people felt when they went to Woodstock? There was'nt an empty seat in the house. The music and interviews were truly inspiring.
    The night was finished off with a great set by the one and only One String Willie. I really enjoyed your performance and humorous commentary. It was great seeing someone in person play a CBG. Up until now it was just me in the basement hearing myself play. It looks as though we gained a few more fans (young and old). It was great to see a young kid with an AC/DC cap looking at this box with a stick like it was the Holy Grail of guitars. Thanks for the inspiration.

    Has anyone seen the documentary yet? I have a seven year old who likes music and the cbgs I build. Would the documentary be age appropriate?
