Elvis?
Must say, I never cottoned to the lad, but I suppose you have to admit he was successful. Sold a lot of records...
Yeah, even if you're not into that kind of music, early Michael Jackson (Jackson 5 and early solo) is legendary.

Screw all of that "he sold a lot of albums so he must be good" shit. The man made some great music. If only for a short while.
I just hope his music will live on through his death and not all the bullshit that happened inhis later years.
Michael Jackson was called "The King of Pop". That is what he meant.

Thriller was awesome. But Michael Jackson was an uber creepy, not-in-touch-with-reality, grabbed-his-privates-way-too-much-in-his-videos, possible child molester.

So talent and high record sales aside, we're not exactly losing a humanitarian here.
ABC its easy as 1,2,3 simple as do.re,me I was around when Jackson 5 was beginning. I remember seeing michael on TV and thinking how talented he was. Watched him go from young good lookin black man to whatever he ended up with. It's a shame fame and popularity can influence and complex a persons life. Hope he rest in peace.
He was a sucess until drugs turned him into Wacko Jacko. He was never right after that. Fried his own brain.
Well said CC! The man was an entertainer like no other.
imagine there was a rich businessman-this guy was never pictured coming out of hotels with a blonde on his arm- he came out of hotels in the company of 11 year old boys.Imagine this middle aged business tycoon didnt build a groovy penthouse apartment overlooking a beach, but instead constructed a play park.Imagine this man going on tv saying its lovely to share you bedroom with your underage friends.
But hey, he wasn't a business tycoon, he was a pop star, which make it all ok.
Jeez,...
Hey man, you have to give hate where hate is due. And MJ primarily deserved it at the end of his "successful" music career.

Personally I can say that I didn't give two shits about him. But he made some great tunes when he was still young and hinged to reality.

So jog on!
If the whole child molestation crap is true then he's a child molester and frankly when they go through his stuff we'll find out. If it's not true then so be it.

But regardless of the looney circus it became the man changed pop music. Like him or hate him... he was teh King of Pop and he was super talented and he did have that "it" thing.

I honestly hope they find that he never was a child molestor and that his music will outlive the circus.
