How did I get here?

Hello everyone! My name is Tyler. I am originally from Odessa TX and now currently live in Oakland Maine. I started my journey in the cbg world in October 2018 when I was making a lapsteel out of an old skateboard. I was searching the web for parts and stumbled upon C.B.Gitty. since then I have joined a few groups on Facebook and followed many builders on Instagram. I have always dreamed of making instruments since I was 14 and got my very first guitar. I'm 29 now and have made 15 instruments so far in the past year with more to come. I've seen the cigar box nation forums advertised for the past few months and decided to give it a whirl. I hope to grow as a builder and musician in this community. Maybe one day do commission builds. With all that said, thanks for having me and I look forward to learning from you guys.
