Friends, Luthiers, various madmen, show me your builds.

I've been looking on here, can't find a collection thread anywhere, so I'm starting one.

Show me just how many you all have built over the years.

Show me your Diddley's, your Chuggers, CBG's, Canjos, Banjos, Licence Plates, amps, everything.

Here is Mine, I got Diddley Bows, Diddley Basses, Chuggers, 3, 4 and 5 Stringers, baritones and one that sounds like a banjo and all made from various tins:

Hi here's the rest of my guitar collection, the acoustics I play.

Shown is my first guitar  that I built in 1977 Mahogany and spruce, and one built in 1980 Rosewood and spruce, both steel string the nylon guitar I fitted a new Cedar top and gave it a new life.

The CBG's are an electric six string and an acoustic six string with pre amp. The 3 stringer is experimental so I keep that for me. Its had springs in it and sympathetic strings inside, but not now, its just acoustic. All set up for slide.

I like the sound holes on the middle CBG.

love all of them, you're right Paul, those sound holes are nice. I love the Parlour guitars, nothing like a good acoustic with a tailpiece instead of fixed bridge

Hi, thanks for the comment Paul and JP, I have other collections I could show but I I might get called a hoarder not a collector.

Like, every violin, cello and bass bridges I have replace possibly over 50

Many of the sets of old frets I have removed maybe 50 or more stored in packets.

The 23 old violin bows

drawers of old tuning machines

the 8 violins

the 5 guitar amps

42 chisels and gouges

over 70 clamps of all types

oh and 10 different routers......why??

I will finish here... I've got to start another collection, ha ha

See what I mean, who neads  all that crap.

Hoarder! Hahaha

Yeah,I'm one too.

Same, got at least a dozen other 6 strings and basses, nothing wrong with hoarding .

if some is good more must be better

Thank you everyone who has posted, keep them coming.

A little old but this is the picture I used for my signature-

that's a very interesting collection, I like it.  the middle black box with the additional length of wood, is that meant to be an upright bass-esque design. And what is the small yellow box on the right, never seen a build so small before.

Thanks!  The middle black box is a stand up bass, 2 string fret less using electric bass strings.  The little one is a soprano uke, 13" scale with the tuners inside the box.

headless Uke with machine heads in the box, very clever i'll have to try that for my travel builds. very nice

I like it.
