Show us your number one stringed instrument. The one you would choose if you could have only one. You can put more than one in the photo, but put number one on the left.

I can play the big box tenor on the left in any key, plugged or unplugged.   Center is my fave guitar, but not as versatile a player in open G.    For plugged in, nothing else makes me sound as good as the swampy.

well . last time we did  this  , i  was  proud to see so  many swamp witches  mentioned   , hence  i  gave a  neutral answer  honoring  other builders  , i'm  glad ,  to  see  a handful  mentioned  here again ,   but at the risk   of tooting my  own horn by being honest ,...   my  "go to"  is also a swamp witch . the "crate  line " model   that i  built    to launch  the "crate"  line ,   i found myself playing it alot , and got attached  , so  never did offer it  in a listing   , and kept it .  plus, i  get  to play every swamp witch  ever made  , so  i   really had no  need for one  , and actually didn't have a regular   swamp witch   for myself  .  so  this is it .

Love that one. Pick.   Reminds me of my dad's foot locker brought home from WW II.

cheers  unk  ;-)

First One. Actually plays pretty good.

LONG scale, Mark.   A noble first build and I encourage you to keep it.     Check out knotlenny's CBG 101 for playing help.  Search that out or go to page top, hover over resources -then click on how to play to find it.  Nice build.  Good wishes.

I have expensive guitars that are gathering dust in the closet just because I love to play this one so much.  It's called the Gypsy and is made from a vintage silverware box with a Bob Harrison pickup.

Love that big box six reso.   Great look to it.  I have some big box tenors.

Thanks Uncle John.  Great fun to play.

Thanks for the offer Wayfinder, but I don't think a man can have too many guitars.

I have really enjoyed looking at all the beauties in this thread!  My current favorite to play is the 3-stringer f-hole made out of a mahogany door panel and features a Dan Sleep Thin-Bucker pickup.

All 3 nice, but I just want to embrace lefty, put him under my coat and sneak out of the building.   Great looking git.

PS:  Has that center one lost weight?
