for 30 bucks you can buy a fret ruler from stu-mac I find it much more accurate than the paper download.
Scroll down the page a bit, look for wfret

Here's the link to my diddley webpage - http://www.dbrooker.com/diddly.html about half way down there's a link so you can print out a PDF for a 23" and 24" fret scale - Hope this helps - DB
This one is good. Fretcalc
So is the one wbich is available on the Stewmac site. I can't recall if they both allow for a printout. But be careful - some printers don't print out at true size which means positions will be wrong. It's easy to measure with a rule but always use the distance from nut to fret not fret to fret otherwise errors will compound.

This is web based, nothing to download. Works for PC and Mac.

Be sure to specify "multi page PDF" on the printout page.

Click reset when you are creating a new template, otherwise it will stick with your previous scale.

Sure you can buy the ruler from StewMac, but then you can only build that size.
Actually the stu-mac one has all 4 fender fret scales on it and if you want a shorter scale you just start at 1st, 2nd , 3rd fret as place for the nut.
