"Wichita" Sam Wood Seriously Injured

One of our community, Sam Wood, was seriously injured during a freak accident and was badly burned over a large percentage of his body. He was evidently working with a power mower and it fell off a ramp, causing gasoline to spill all over Sam. It ignited and Sam was severely burned.

He is currently in the hospital recovering from his injuries and has undergone numerous skin grafts.

His family has set up a Go Fund Me page and would appreciate donations to help defray the costs of his medical treatments. Even after any insurance payments, the bills will still pretty doggone expensive. Burn treatment ain't cheap.

Sam has been a member of CBN for a long time. He created the CBN Chapel group where members of faith could post and share faith related stories, and prayer requests, etc.

He has also donated some of his instruments to the CBGs For Soldiers program.

I have a 3 string fretless build I am close to finishing, and I will put it up for sale/auction here in this post. The proceeds will be donated to Sam's Go Fund Me fund.

Please keep Sam and his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Sam was a pioneer in gauging weed wacker line for CBG'ws He discovered and reported to all of the Yahoo chat group his discoveries with the different colors and gauges of line for different tunings.

He has always been willing to help out and give advice to both newbies and old timers.

Hes a great guy.

I've been through some pretty painful stuff but can only imagine what you've had to endure. Praying for continued courage, strength, faith and healing brother.
