Christmas 2015

will be here before we know it !

For any of the new folks here on the Nation, we have compiled an annual album of songs played, composed and sung by our members for the last several years with some great songs!

The primary requirement is that the recording be of good quality, for example, If you are singing, we want to be able to hear your voice!

The 2009 Christmas album contained 23 songs, 2010 Christmas contained 40 songs, 2011 contained 18 songs. More songs is not necessarily better, we had less in 2012 but all the submissions were amazing!, 2013  we had 39 songs, last year in 2014 35 songs for the album came in though we really don't have a limit on the number of songs we can include.

There has been a tremendous response to CB Nation Christmas album submissions in previous years, let's top this year off with with a

CRACKER CHRISTMAS ALBUM!

You can submit a cover of a traditional non copyrighted song, or ideally you can do something you composed yourself  played on your cigar box guitar.

Traditional Christmas carols over 100 years old are ok but due to copyright infringment newer songs like White Christmas, Lonely This Christmas and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree are OUT  i'm afraid!  As the results will be openly advertised, publicised and shared we don't want mean old copyright lawyers knocking on the door on Christmas eve, do we?

Please respond in this thread if you would like to participate!

...and include the song that you would like to have included in the album. Once we have the final album compiled, it will be posted as a free download, and anyone will be able to download it so you will be able to pass the links along to your friends and family!
