We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Russ showed up too...with his new CBG!  Gary had a great reso too.  Had fun with those two today and got to jam out too.  What's the song you're talking about here?  Is there a link somewhere?

Just put up a vid on the nations video page. It's a short sample of an idea.

Awesome! Sounds like ya'll had a blast!

We were few in number because of the weather, but had some great discusions and heard some great playing. Ideas were tossed around and who knows what will happen next. Guess you'll have to join us next month to find out.

I was able to download this MP3 to my desk top. This is a standard 12 bar Chicago blues 1chord x4 4cord x2 1chord x2 5chordx1 4chord x1 1chordx1 5chordx1. Rhythm part would be in the key of G. Cool I'll come up with a rhythm part around a slide. This could also work as is for vocals. I could try vocals if someone else wants to play rhythm. It's all good.

Muy buena! Si Eso funcionará

Smilingdog ??? I barely speak English. : )

Dropping this MP3 into Garage Band. GB converted it to a wave file. I'll be able to drop in a rhythm part. Turn this back into an MP3. Upload it here for someone else to take over.

Right on! We're getting hits on Kompoz from members and a few likes which is a good start.

March 21st, is next Club/workshop. 9-11AM.

Maximum fun!

Looking for that mind blowing experience Saturday mornings, come out and check out whats developing into a killer collaboration of new ideas in music.

Hey Clark, it doesn't look like I'll get your pickup in a box before the 21st. I will try real hard to have it done for April. Can't wait to hear it!

Egyptpunk and I are making progress on her gas can banjo now that the workshop is warming up!
