We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Hey C I'll send him a message and see if he's got nothin' better to do.......I think he had a good time last month.

Sorry guys and gals, I just found out I have to work tomorrow...bummer.

Dang it! Get that work done, make that money! : )

Been a recipient of weekend working hours myself Sean. Took yesterday off so I wouldn't have to work today. Hope to jam with ya soon.

Guess its the rat c and Steve trio
Looks like Egyptpunk and I finally have some time to get some more work done on her gas can banjo this weekend-- we are close to finishing up. Given the looooong drive we would have, I think we are going to wait until we get a couple of instruments done & catch up with you guys later. Meanwhile, I am still fumbling along at trying to play.... If one could call it that. :)

We had another great time at the club. Mr. C,  Gary,  The Cause the Blue rat and myself shared and jammed.

Each meet is unique. There was another exchange of gifts. I scored : )

Gary brought his huge upright double bass 4/4 and the guys got to thump out a tune on it.

Cause the Blue rat brought in his revived Fender P bass recovered from the curb.

Mr. C also brought in his 3 string didleybo Bass / guitar combo using his hand-wound custom pickups.

We look forward to hearing those new builds you and your daughter are putting together!

I had a BLAST jamming with ya'll. Never enough time. Gary, your upright bass was awesome. Thank you for bringing it and letting me play. Total thing of musical beauty and art. I owe you one dude. Totally cool.

Always good time all areas should clubs like this. Gary, Steve, rat .always a good time .great bass rat ever want to unload it let me know .

Talkin', swapin', playin', singin', listenin', show and tellin', cuttin' up, definition of good time. Good times continue in Feb.
