Someone said hey what about a original cbg record so Merle thanks keep raising the bar and people will climb it.

A lot of recording have gone through this site covers and originals. If you go back and pick the best ones you have some really nice music just another aspect of this site. And the best part is the support for people starting to record which in the music world is rare, ask a questioned it answered do you best it accepted. Just awesome.

Are some of these recording record co. worthy yes and I would say if money was involved you would see more people and better efforts, but who's says there can't be c# record co. or rtz records . If you distribute through the net it's all right in front of you.

Yep. Great stuff everybody. This one is probably my favorite being all original.

Who needs record companies, song doctors and factory guitars when we can do it all ourselves? This is FOLK music pure and simple and I love it.

I've been listening to the album on my commute to and from work today, and it's a real grower. This is definitely my favourite of all the various albums that have been produced here. It's the song writing that has impressed me the most. Flash production and virtuoso playing mean nothing if the song ain't there.

this echoes my own thoughts entirely vinylhed, you can only go so far with the cover version albums - being original means you can share the music anywhere without any legal hassles. and it gives everyone a chance to write some new material or maybe try a new style of playing. round of applause to you guys

just listened to the whole album while decorating. Anything that makes painting skirting boards enjoyable has got to be good!! Definitely my favorite CB Nation album : -)
