We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

That is so cool! Ella and I know a bit of French, but I agree with Mr. C; music is as good as any form of communication. When I was in Morocco last summer, I bought a gimbiri, the ancestor to the banjo, and had so much fun playing Johnny Cash songs on it with a Japanese backpacker in a rural mountain village and singing Bob Marley songs with the locals :)

hi guys, yes my english is not good... can say bad or as good as my french language...°<[:-) [---]==={...

Most important things are to meet nice people, to play CBG, drinking some beers or good whisky or bad coffee together, smiling, talking about all and nothing... only living happyness... i wish to come but i can't,..I'm very very busy actually and not enough money for that... TheoMojo got several projects like this one, to meet friends we appreciate very much through Interenet on the Nation.. We wish to share many nice time... to do it, we created "Le BSA France Festival de Cigar Box Guitares"...

Pardon is as good as it gets for me. We hope they can join us on a Saturday. As you know our club meets almost every 3rd Saturday each month but we can adjust it  bit. Nice to meet folks from out of town.

Look forward to your LP!

"Le BSA France Festival de Cigar Box Guitares" We'd like to hear more about it.

Hi Friends,

There's certainly a nice place to meet and drink one or two beers in Saint-Louis...on wednesday night.
We'll be there for the evening of August 06th.
Our trip between Chicago and New Orleans lasts only 2 weeks and all our hotels are booked.
The next time, we will come for 2 years to spend more time in St Louis!

The history of "Le BSA France Festival de Cigar Box Guitares" is there : BSA CBG Festival Web Site

See you.

TheoMojo

PS : On Oct. 04th... Justin will play at the Festival.

Sounds fun, would be nice to get club members rounded up. It's a work night for me, but we can have a drink and bite to eat, share interest for sure. Stay in touch and let us hear from you when you arrive. I recommend a visit to the 61roadhouse.

Smilingdog

A couple TheoMojo and wife are touring from BSA CBG festival in France. They will meet up at the 61Roadhouse on August 6th around 7:00 pm.

Have a drink & maybe a bite to eat for short visit. Come say hello to our friends and share what we do.

Smilingdog

Sorry guys. Being in the middle of the week there's no way I'll be able to make it. Be really cool to meet both of you. Always cool to talk to fellow musicians and blues lovers! Perhaps next time you come threw we'll meet. Rock on!

We are here at the roadhouse with friends and family hoping to run into our friends from BSA festival in France.

The 6th of August 2014 is an historic date...
A new CrossRoads is born beteween HWY 61 and Road 42.

Thank you very much Smilingdog, Gary, your family and friends for your warm welcome.
It was so great to meet you all, we spent such a beautiful evening at 61 Roadhouse.

I bring back in my luggage 2 Smilingdog CBGs and  T-shirts of the Saint Louis Festival.
We'll make a special stand to promote the St Louis CBG Festival during our next BSA CBG Festival.

All the best my friends.
