anyone use these before?
Just curious if any of you have used this type of disc? Not sure how the chip attachment affects the sound? Thanks in advance.

I accidentally did once. I didn't notice any difference in sound that I could directly attribute to the piezo (as opposed to the box, neck, strings, etc.). I just made sure to put a big blob of hot glue in between the chip and the disk to protect those dinky wires.

thanks Ryan. I may not use it then. The leads off those dinky wires broke free.

Just solder some new leads to the piezo and use it without the chip.
