Thank you Uncle John.  I tried to get the first wail in the left speaker, the second in the middle, and the last one in the right speaker to "give a sense of motion".  Trying to be an artist. (pronounced ar-teeest, with a flick of the mustache...)  See you later, friend.

Many of you know I am a fan of The Roadhouse Podcast, hosted by Tony Steidler-Dennison. The Roadhouse features the "Finest Blues You Never Heard", and gives listeners an opportunity to hear non-mainstream music, often by independent artists.

Tony also helped us out here on CBN by judging the recent CBG Building Challenge.

I was thinking of letting Tony know about this impending album release, and seeing if he might be interested in including any of the tracks on his show. No guarantees though...

If any of you DON'T want your submission released to The Roadhouse, please let me know and I will be sure to withhold it.

If you DO wish to have your submission included, it will help if you include any additional information about the song, such  as:

What artist/performer name you want to be credited as

Album name, if any

Instrument used

Any brief historical or anecdotal information that a listener might find interesting.

Dan,

   I am a fan of Pandora.  You can choose a genre or an artist for you can mix artists.  They play similar artists and your chosen artists - hoping you will buy songs - but you don not have to pay a cent.  I am currently listening to a channel with LAZY LESTER.

"Lost Dog Blues" ....the song was about a dog i owned in the 80's, the usual story - man buys dog, faithful companion through good times and bad, dog gets ill and dies....the hardest part was saying "goodbye" and coming home alone with just her collar and lead...sob...! (-;

Hey Dan,

Please feel free to include my submission in the Roadhouse Podcast idea. It can be credited to Mike Bingham, aka mrbangham.

The song is an original doodle played on a three string Punch cigar box guitar with an overwound humbucker in it, and is tuned GDG.  The train wails were played on a homemade lap steel built from an old wooden bed rail. It was plugged into a Boss DS-1 that I modded with LED clipping diodes to replace the original Boss diodes. Both guitars went to the pedal board then straight into Audacity.

here is my submission . a tune done with my 3 string cigar box guitar , using  wah  pedal, on clean channel. recorded using a Tascam DR-03
