About me

I am an OIF veteran, former (and possibly future) teacher of English as a Foreign Language, and a long-time guitar enthusiast. I am also a photographer and a writer. I've been interested in building my own instruments for quite some time, but it always seemed such a huge undertaking and beyond my technical know-how, especially after visiting Santa Cruz Guitar Company and seeing how they do it. Cigar Box Nation has given me inspiration and hope, especially in these current times of economic want and woe. I enjoy DIY projects and am trying to live a more green lifestyle - and this combines both! Cannot wait to dive into my first project...
