Hey Dakota, you have some mighty fine CBGs. I love all of them especially the gun theme and the copper pipe and gear one. Great ideas and great job. The amps are very nice, too. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Thanks for the kind words! I use craft grade acrylic paint, rubbed on with a damp cloth. When dry sand it off here and there, and then I apply an oil stain over it to calm it down. That's it -- and incredibly easy to mix custom colors!

I already have two more in the works. One is going to get the "Wild West " look I have a pair of horns from a bull I found at a swap meet. I will use as an armrest and legrest as well as some cool old leather for a pickguard. I need to find some fabric tacks to being it together.

Hi Don,
Thanks for the complement. The Orange amp is great. It has pretty amazing tone for such a small package. I also have the Marshall and fender micro amps, but the Orange blows them away with it's quality. It also comes apart easily to do a case mod. I was so impressed with it, I went back to the dealer and and brought home the 30 watt model.
Cheers, Andy

Thanks DD, My assistant is a Bengal she is part Asian Leopard cat and very much a perfectionist when it comes to my work practices. She even insist I counter sink the holes for my string on the Diddley Bow & made me wash the cat food tin repeatedly until it passed her smell test...

No worries mate , i dont consider myself a player some days i seem better than others it comes and goes lol! - i seem to be much better at building than playing although i wish it was the other way around - i seem to be able to keep myself amused with my playing and thats the main thing i guess

well i think i could sell a lot more if i could make them quicker but i like to take my time doing builds like snail speed lol!
i,ve sold seven out of the nine i have built in two years
heres my website it shows what builds i have made and sold i've also just sold the first Diddleybow i made that now lives in japan
